Sparkle is available! She is approximately 7 months old and up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines. Sparkle is super smart and learns very quickly. She is almost housebroken and is fully crate trained. She gets along well with others but can be pushy and try to dominate. She is a tomboy and plays rough.
Bunny is about 5 years old and a total love bug. Sadly, Bunny was born with a defect in the cerebellum, which is where coordination is controlled. She can do everything normally but she just walks a little funny and sometimes loses her balance. Don't tell Bunny she has a handicap because she won't believe it. She loves loves loves to go on walks and explore, and afterwards she loves to cuddle (she is the BEST cuddler!)
Bunny is housebroken, and would be an absolute dream to live with. She is quiet but loves to be a part of everything. Bunny needs her ears cleaned frequently as she does have narrow ear canals and could be prone to ear infections.
We are hopeful someone can see past her balance issue and open their heart to her ... we promise you won't regret it!
Meet Zelda: a 9-month-old pup who is learning about the good life outside of a kennel. Having spent most of her life behind bars, she has been ecstatic to have the freedom of a fenced in area to stretch out and run! She gets along well with the other pup in the foster home and if she plays rough, he will let her know when he has had enough and she accepts that.
She has already proven what a wonderful family dog she will be. When company brought 3 little girls over, Zelda fell in love with them, followed them everywhere and ended the evening falling asleep next to them. All the adults commented on how awesome she really was with the little humans. When you take her outside, she is very good about business first/play later. She sleeps in a kennel and has not had any kennel accidents. We’re working on house training, chewing and jumping. Zelda has made so much progress in 3 weeks that we are confident she will make someone a loyal and loving addition to their family.
Handsome Beau is about 2 years old, and is looking for a home with the following:
Lulabelle is 15 month old female pup. She's had a bit of a rough start to life but that hasn't stopped her from being a wonderful girl. She had a herniated bladder and has spinal bifida. Both have been addressed with surgery. Even with her issues she still runs and plays. She loves a cuddle and a scratch. She does very well in a crate, and wears a diaper while inside.
Lulabelle is a funny and sassy little love bug who is looking for that forever home that doesn't mind her minor issues. She is going to make the right family extremely happy!
Tally is a 4-year-old female, who loves everyone and everything. Probably would be ok with cats with the correct introduction. She's great in her crate, and we're working on her house training. Tally is currently located in Florida.
10 year old Biscuit was surrendered to us because he needed care for his problematic skin condition. We now have everything under control with meds so he is ready for his forever home.
Biscuit is easy going and loving. He loves to follow you around. He also enjoys going for rides and exploring new places. He really doesn’t even need a fenced yard because he is not a runner. He will happily just walk/stroll around the yard with you. Biscuit gets along with all dogs and even cats.
His fur is slowly growing back. He has to have his thyroid medicine twice/day at least 30min before he eats. He gets his Vetoryl twice a day with breakfast and dinner.
This boy will make someone (or some family) very happy. He’s goofy and easy to love.
Remy is a 3 year old neutered male. He is a happy dog that gets along with other dogs and is up-to-date with shots. Remy was surrendered due to congenital spinal malformations, causing weakness in his legs, wobbly walk and incontinence. Recommendations include avoiding high impact activities.
Trevor is a 6 year old sweet boy who also has IVDD. He walks and gets around but sometimes drips so he wears a belly band. He is a good boy: gets along well with other dogs and kids and he deserves a nice forever home!
Missy is a 20 month old puppy who was pulled out of the shelter to avoid being euthanized. She has weakness in her rear limbs and a wobbly walk. She is a sweetheart who loves to chew on socks. She gets along with dogs but does resource guard her food. She will need to continue physical therapy exercises to strengthen her legs. She loves to play but will need to be monitored at times to make sure she rests.
